FIRE ALARM CABLES CABLES

Introduction:

  • ASH FIRE ALARM is recognized by the Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc, POWER-LIMITED FIRE ALARM CABLE Type FPLR, FPL (60°C – 105°C). The conductor utilizes. 22 AWG or larger, in accordance with ASTM Standard. Insulated and sheathed with high temperature thermoplastic PVC compounds. These cables may also feature a metallic or non-metallic shield for additional protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and external noise.
  • The cable is constructed and tested in accordance with the Cables for Power-Limited Fire-Alarm Circuits, UL 1424.

Application:

  • For use in accordance with Article 760 of the National Electrical Code. They are specifically designed for use in fire alarm systems to connect control panels, detectors, notification appliances, and other devices. Engineered to meet the stringent safety and performance requirements necessary for fire alarm applications.

FIRE RESISTANT CABLES

Introduction:

  • ASH Fire-resistant cables are specialized electrical cables designed to maintain circuit integrity and functionality during a fire event, helping to ensure the safety of people and property by allowing essential electrical systems to continue operating in emergency situations.
  • These cables are constructed with Silicon rubber, MICA fire tapes, XLPE FR and LSZH outer sheathing to resist fire, heat, and mechanical damage without losing their electrical integrity. It successfully passes rigorous testing to verify their performance in fire conditions, including fire resistance, circuit integrity, and mechanical impact resistance.

Application:

  • Fire-resistant cables are used in critical applications where maintaining electrical continuity during a fire is essential for life safety, property protection, or the operation of essential services.
  • They are commonly employed in fire alarm systems, emergency lighting systems, fire pumps, evacuation systems, and other essential services in buildings and infrastructure.
