Rubber Cables
Introduction
ASH Rubber cables are low-energy electric cables rated up to Uo/U 450/750 V. These cables feature a flexible conductor construction insulated with Ethylene-Propylene Rubber (EPR) and sheathed with Chlorinated Polyethylene rubber compounds. This design provides electrical insulation and resistance to heat, oil, chemicals, and mechanical damage. The maximum conductor operating temperatures are 60 °C (in mobile applications) and 90 °C (in fixed protected installations), compliant with BS and IEC standards.
Applications
ASH Rubber cables are versatile and suitable for various electrical applications. They are commonly used in domestic appliances, such as kitchens, portable or mobile equipment, electrical tools, transformers, pumps, welders, grinders, and more. Additionally, they are ideal for drainage and water treatment, cold environments, and severe industrial settings. The rubber insulation and sheathing materials provide excellent flexibility, making them perfect for applications involving frequent movement or vibration.
